Introduction of AZ Investment Management:

Stefano holds a BA in Economics from Yale University and an MBA from the China Europe International Business School.

Mr. John Benito has more than 35 years’ working experience in the operations field and has worked in many Asian and European countries as well as the USA, including 16 years in China. John has worked in a variety of international and local roles with large multinational companies such as 3M, Parker, Siemens and Hercules, as well as a Senior Consultant for many automotive, telecommunications and medical operation companies. He holds an MBA in Production Engineering, a Post Graduate Diploma in Operations Management, is an APICS “CPIM” and a Certified Quality Auditor.

China National Floorball Championship Results

The sixth annual China National Floorball Championship was held at the American International School in Guangzhou’s Science Park Campus on Saturday May 17th. Nine teams and approximately 120 players from Beijing, Shanghai, Suzhou, Hong Kong, and Guangzhou came to fight for the championship.

The Hong Kong Fashion Boys defeated the Shanghai Sharks 5-4 in the thrilling final. Guangzhou’s two teams, the Guangzhou Taipans and the Guangzhou Rams, finished in fifth and seventh place respectively. The Guangzhou teams were pleased to have organized the tournament and the massive after party at the Brew in New Pearl River City, even if they weren’t able to bring home the championship trophy on their home turf. Next year, Guangzhou will have another shot at the championship when the tournament moves to Beijing. Guangzhou teams which mainly consist of Finnish, Canadian and Swedish players have regular trainings in every Thursday evening.

The traditional FBCGD Spring Golf Event was held on Saturday 17 May at Firestone Golf Course in Shenzhen. Total 17 players from Guangdong and Hong Kong joined in friendly competition, which was followed by dinner at Sea World.

Hubert Delelis Fanien specializes in auditing and quality inspection and has personally recruited, trained and developed hundreds of Chinese team members enabling them to become the top managers of today and tomorrow. Mr. Fanien has developed a worldwide industrial process expert network. Christine Raynaud, CEO, MRIC

Christine Raynaud is the CEO of MRIC, one of the most well-established recruitment firms in Mainland China and in Asia. Operating from six locations, Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Taipei and Singapore, MRIC employs over 180 staff and provides executive recruitment services and outsourcing solutions to clients in every major industry. Christine has gained more than 25 years of experience in search, recruitment and staffing, drawing on the knowledge gained through leading HR services businesses in over 21 international markets. Ms. Raynaud is a graduate of HEC Paris with a career that includes roles with recruitment industry leaders such as Hudson, Manpower, Inc., and Adecco.

Cindy Jensen, EU SME Centre Speaker

Cindy Jensen has over 20 years’ experience working with well-recognised multinational companies (including Frito-Lay, a division of PepsiCo and TELUS Mobility) in the fields of sales, marketing and human resources. She has expertise in a broad range of areas including: Talent & Organisational Development, Change Management, Cross Cultural Understanding, Performance Management, Strategy Development, HR Consulting, designing and facilitating Leadership Development programmes and Executive Coaching. Ms. Jensen has a BComm in Marketing and Human Resources from Dalhousie University, Halifax, Canada and is a graduate of the Rutgers International EMBA programme with a concentration in Finance and Strategy. She is an ACC credentialed Executive Coach and a member of the International Coaching Federation. Noelia Maestre has worked for branding and design agencies in London, Valencia and HK for more than 12 years and has extended experience in producing marketing materials and custom publications for brands such as TOTO, Mackintosh, Hyundai Card, Blackberry and Swire Properties. Since she arrived at Teamacting Group in 2013, she has been working in various projects including helping the GM to restructure and re-launch the company.

David Allison, China IPR SME Helpdesk Expert

David Allison is Counsel of Bird & Bird within the China IP team based in Hong Kong. With extensive experience in all major areas of intellectual property, including copyright, trademarks, patents, and registered designs, Mr. Allison has managed disputes dealing with infringement of trademarks, copyright as well as the misuse of confidential information and trade secrets. Mr. Allison’s particular areas of interest include contentious intellectual property disputes, the enforcement of intellectual property rights in both Hong Kong and mainland China, and the prosecution of trade mark portfolios in Hong Kong and the greater China region. He also advises clients on non-contentious matters, particularly relating to personal data privacy. Mr. Allison is qualified to practise law in the Supreme Court of Western Australia, the High Court of Australia and the High Court of Hong Kong.
