FCGD visited Seismo company and went go-karting in Dongguan

We are thrilled to share the highlights of our recent visit to Dongguan, a dynamic city known for its thriving industrial landscape and strategic location in China’s Guangdong Province. Dongguan, often referred to as the “World’s Factory,” is a hub of manufacturing excellence and innovation, making it an ideal destination for exploring new business opportunities.

Our visit was graciously hosted by a Finnish-owned green package design company, where we had the pleasure of meeting the founder, Ismo Seeve. Ismo and his collague Jyri Lintunen gave an inspiring presentation about the company’s commitment to sustainable packaging solutions and its journey in the Chinese market. His insights underscored the importance of environmentally friendly practices in today’s business environment and highlighted the company’s innovative approaches to green packaging.

Following Ismo’s presentation, we were privileged to hear from Hudson He, a consultant from Amicorp, who provided a comprehensive overview of new business opportunities and the latest developments in Chinese taxation. Hudson’s expertise was invaluable, offering practical advice on navigating the complexities of the Chinese market and optimizing tax strategies for foreign businesses.

The day concluded with an exhilarating karting race, adding a touch of excitement and camaraderie to our visit. We congratulate Mikko Tarvainen for clinching the first place, Jyri Lintunen for securing second place, and Ville Majanen, Chairman of Finncham Guangdong, for finishing third. Their spirited participation made the event memorable and fun for all involved.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to our sponsors and all participants who made this day a resounding success. Your support and enthusiasm are greatly appreciated, and we look forward to more such collaborative events in the future.
